AIscending.com (“we,” “us,” “our”) is owned and operated by Sage Chang. We help non-technical solopreneurs and small business owners cut through the AI noise. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not create user accounts on this site.
What We Collect
Email addresses (newsletter)
When you subscribe to the AIscending newsletter, your email address is submitted to Beehiiv, our newsletter provider. Beehiiv stores and processes your email on our behalf. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send you. See Beehiiv’s privacy policy for details on how they handle subscriber data.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (via the Site Kit plugin) to understand which articles people find useful and where traffic comes from. Google Analytics collects anonymized data such as your approximate location (country/region), device type, browser, referrer, and pages visited. We do not combine this with any personally identifiable information. See Google’s privacy policy.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies:
- WordPress session cookies — only set if you log into the WordPress admin (not applicable to regular visitors).
- Google Analytics cookies — used to distinguish unique visitors and sessions.
- Cloudflare cookies — used by our CDN/security provider for bot protection and performance.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not break the site.
Affiliate Links & FTC Disclosure
AIscending participates in affiliate programs with the following partners: Make.com, Beehiiv, n8n, Railway, Tidio, Reclaim.ai, AI Front Desk, Ruby, GoHighLevel, and Fireflies.ai. When you click an affiliate link on this site (typically styled as /go/{brand}) and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
In line with FTC guidelines, every article that contains affiliate links includes a clear disclosure. We only recommend tools we believe genuinely help the solopreneurs and small business owners we write for. Commissions never influence our reviews — if a tool is a bad fit, we say so.
When you click a /go/{brand} link, we log the click — timestamp, brand, destination URL, the referring page, and your browser’s user agent — to a monthly CSV file so we can report accurate numbers to our affiliate partners. We do not log your IP address. These logs are retained for 12 months and then deleted.
Third-Party Services We Use
- Beehiiv — newsletter delivery
- Google Analytics (via Site Kit) — traffic analytics
- Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, performance
- DigitalOcean — web hosting
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. We choose providers that meet reasonable data-protection standards, but we cannot control their practices.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the third-party processors listed above, and only to the extent needed to operate the site and newsletter. We will disclose data if legally required (e.g., a valid court order).
Data Retention
- Newsletter subscribers: retained until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data: retained according to Google Analytics’ default settings.
- Affiliate click logs: 12 months, then deleted.
- Server logs (Cloudflare / DigitalOcean): retained short-term for security and troubleshooting.
Your Rights
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Access the data we hold about you (realistically, this is your email address if you’re a subscriber).
- Delete your data — unsubscribe from the newsletter and email us to confirm deletion.
- Opt out of analytics by using your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting or a privacy extension.
- Correct inaccurate data by emailing us.

Children’s Privacy
AIscending is built for adult business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we materially change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date above. For significant changes (e.g., a new third-party processor), we’ll note it in the newsletter.
